Southeastern Model Homes Get Festive for the Holiday Season

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in three signature model homes across Drees’ Southeast division. The Elmsdale at Traditions in Brentwood, Tennessee and the award-winning Durbin II at Oxford Estates as well as the Rowland in St. Augustine’s Wards Creek in Jacksonville, Florida all transformed for the holidays.

Although the celebration of the holiday season is shared and achieved by all three locations, the unique design styles shine bright throughout each home’s décor directions. Let’s take a closer look at the ways each model stylishly displayed their holiday spirit.

The Elmsdale at Traditions | Brentwood, Tennessee

This gorgeous modern farmhouse already got a visit from Santa this season, where luxuriously-designed holiday décor has been placed throughout the more than 5,300 square feet at Traditions. Beautiful greens, golds and ambers guide you up the front porch, where glass French doors invite guests towards the open living area.

Subtle centerpieces, light fixture accents and a jaw-dropping tree loaded with presents immediately puts us all in the Christmas spirit. On top of the main-level living area, spectacular holiday additions were placed in the family ready room, wine room, gameroom and outdoor living space. A warm beverage, roaring fireplace and a little holiday music is all you would need to complete this holiday transformation.

The Durbin II at Oxford Estates | St. Johns, Florida

Taking cues from a “Coastal Christmas” theme, the Durbin II successfully celebrates the season through a blend of subtle blues, greens, golds and whites. The frosted foliage of the perfectly-placed Christmas tree acts as the center of attention while illuminating garland draped along the entertainment center meshes well with the current coastal décor on the shelving. Additional intricate designs include white candle centerpieces on the dining room table, plant life that adds pops of green throughout, and metal holiday signage adjacent to the outdoor living space.

The Rowland at Wards Creek | St. Augustine, Florida

A more traditional holiday design strategy can be found throughout the award-winning Rowland model in St. Augustine. A matching wreath display on French doors and some winter foliage greet guests. A bright, open living area leads visitors’ eyes from space to space, where subtle gray furniture blend harmoniously with the reds and greens from the tree, centerpieces and wreaths placed throughout. Fancy garland on the gorgeous iron stair railings provide a visible path upstairs, while a festive display on the kitchen island provides an inviting setting for meal or conversation.
