Home for the Holidays with Traci from Beneath My Heart

We partnered with the talented Traci from Beneath My Heart to celebrate the holidays. Traci’s site features her inspiring decor, adventures with designing, and decorating on a budget. She has become an expert in all things home decor and design!

At Drees, we know that the holidays are one of the best times of the year to entertain and enjoy time with family and friends. Making your home cozy with greenery, candles, and holiday cheer is a welcoming way to greet your guests. Traci did an amazing job creating a ready-to-entertain home at our Everly model in Mt. Juliet, TN.

Traci started at the fireplace and created an inviting space to enjoy a cup of cocoa. The stone fireplace and wood mantle is an ideal canvas for greenery and stockings. This area just makes you want to turn on the fireplace and relax with a good book!

The fireplace sets the stage for the tablespace and kitchen that are seamlessly open for entertaining. One of Traci’s favorite features in this home is the openness from room to room. She mentions in her blog that “there is plenty of room for a large dining table to accommodate many friends and family members. And since the table is located right between the kitchen and den, no one feels excluded from the party.  It makes for great flow and conversations.”

And the holiday would not be complete without decorating cookies in the kitchen. The large island in this home, make it so easy to spread out the toppings. Traci’s other favorite features in the kitchen are the glass cabinetry for added pops of color and double ovens to ensure on-time meal readiness.
