The Dallas Builders Association named Drees Custom Homes the 2017 Builder of Year at the annual McSAM Awards on Saturday, March 25th, during a black-tie event at the Westin Galleria. The prestigious McSAM Awards program recognizes homebuilders, developers and associates who have made a significant contribution in residential sales and marketing through specific achievements during the previous year.
“The Builder of the Year Award is selected based on accomplishments, innovation, market performance, working relationships with trades, vendors and suppliers, community involvement, company culture and Dallas Builders Association involvement,” said Misty Varsalone, Dallas Builders Association Director of Member Services. “Drees Custom Homes has made a significant impact on the real estate market in North Texas and we are honored to have them recognized for their hard work and accomplishments.”
In 2016, Drees sold 277 homes with an average price of $542,000 and opened seven new model homes in five new communities in the Dallas/Fort Worth market. This is the 2nd time in three years that Drees has received this award.
