As a parent, one of the key factors in selecting your new home is the school district. You want to ensure your children will receive a quality education from talented teachers at a state-of-the-art facility. Drees Custom Homes is proud to build in some of the top school districts throughout Austin.
The Austin Business Journal recently ranked the region’s public high schools based on SAT scores to see how they stack up. The SAT has three portions – reading, math and writing – each worth up to 800 points for a total possible score of 2400. While an SAT score is only one metric and may not paint a full picture of a school, it is still a key factor used by college admission representatives and allows for easy comparisons. The rankings are based data from the Texas Education Agency’s Texas Academic Performance Reports.
